This high-energy, interactive session will apply game thinking to museums. Session presenters will introduce key concepts in game design and walk through the game development process. Participants will then break into small groups for a fast, fun “game jam,” creating a prototype for the entire group to playtest. At the end of the session, participants will understand the potential for game thinking to inform the future of museums, as well some of the ways they might apply game design and strategies at their own organizations.
