This app for iOS and Android tells the story of the Holocaust from the perspective of Survivors that settled in South Florida after WW2. Over 60 minutes of original video and audio guide visitors as they explore the iconic memorial. Content is available in English, French, German, Haitian, Hebrew, Russian and Spanish.
15 iBeacons were installed outdoors that trigger media as visitors walk past sets of etched granite panels. The automatic triggering feature allows for a more immersive experience as visitors aren’t required to manipulate mobile devices while they visit. School groups are also making extensive use of the tablet version of the app as docents give tours and refer to app content while they guide.
